MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL NICOTRI:
We cannot wait to welcome you back to school next week on Thursday, September 7th! I hope you all have had a restful and productive break.
Please be advised that schedules were released by an accidental glitch across the NYCDOE. This week finalized schedules will be shared via the same accounts that you viewed these preliminary schedules. Please look out for an email from me indicating that schedules have been finalized. Until I have sent out official word, do not assume your schedule is correct, accurate or final.
I also want to address our new earlier start at 8:20 a.m. The teachers and school community agreed to this shift due to the new teacher time requirements. If we did not shift the time, teachers would be unavailable for clubs, tutoring, or afterschool activities every Monday and Tuesday. Our community of educators are proud to serve you and made these changes to preserve our continuity of after school programs that support our collective success.

If you have any questions about your schedule be sure to discuss with your guidance counselor, while they cannot promise to have all of your requests made, just a quick reminder that schedule changes involving a specific teacher request, a request for a particular lunch period, or dropping of a course that will result in less than the legally mandated amount of instructional time, will not occur.
